Watch the first 10 minutes expose LCPS.
Following in the footsteps of Arlington and Fairfax, the Loudoun County School Board is now creating specific policies designed to undermine students’ privacy rights and girls’ sports programs, and students’ and staff’s freedom of speech, including mandatory Queer Theory (not named as such, of course) training.
Currently, Policy 8040 is under review in the Pupil Services Committee. This is the time to send your thoughtful feedback. Let the school board know how harmful this is. Feedback must be submitted through this online form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfaKdLv4uxoX63eQ1Rq0O2vJzwv6OKMV6-bpTMvZ3cF8Ub5oQ/viewform

Approximately 100 speakers signed up for the 10/22/19 School Board meeting, the majority of them calling for accountability from LCPS and the removal of the books laced with sexually explicit content, profanity, and mature sexual themes that promote messages that contradict Virginia FLE requirements and LCPS student conduct policies.
The Public Comments begin at 22:40. School Board member discussion on the topic of the Diverse Classroom libraries begins at 4:48:13.
